ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Award-winning author Dmitry Badiarov is coming from the least privileged background. He has made a name for himself as a luthier, violinist & violoncellist da spalla as a member of various European and Asian Early Music groups. He created violins and spallas for world-class musicians such as Bryan Senti, Sergey Malov, and Ryo Terakado

After becoming redundant in 2006, he discovered his passion for marketing. This took him on stages such as Tokyo Opera City and got him featured in Tokyo MX TV, Nikkei News, The Strad, RTL7 TV. In 2009 he produced his multiple international award-winning album the Six Suites for Violoncello Solo by J.S.Bach [RAMEE], played on da spalla of his work. 

In 2019 he created the Professional A.R.T.I.S.T. Pathway™ program that teaches musicians how to be more successful. He started his Elite Luthiers Academy™ where he teaches instrument makers his unconventional approach to instrument making. He hosted his regular events online and LIVE in Spain, Portugal and The Netherlands.

As a speaker and entrepreneur, he shared the stage with experts on Social Media Marketing such as Paul O'Mahony, Marcin Marczak, and Chris Rowell at a Digital Marketing conference in LondonIn 2019 he became an award-winning speaker on the stage of Andy Harrington's Professional Speakers Academy, and been a guest speaker on a number of podcasts such as BizVision, School of Startups Radio, Respark Your Life and many others.  

In 2022 he was awarded Leader In Luthiery Award for the publication of his book On Fine Violin Making with the foreword by Raymond Aaron, the top 10 New York Times best selling author. 

The book On Spalla shows his journey of bringing back to life a lost page in culture of classical music and shows how other violinists and violists can attract more success in their lives.
